Kari was a wonderful friend. We visited often in the last 40 years. Sharing many wonderful stories of riding her motorcycle and scuba diving. She often shared chili, casserole or something else she’d cooked. I’ll miss our talks most of all. She was a wonderful person and friend to many. Made me laugh a lot. Carol A
Peace and comfort for those who survive Kari. She will be missed

I was honored to present a few of Kari’s medallions on her beginning journey of sobriety. I was her counselor and then her friend as she journeyed to find herself. Kari taught me more than she could ever know. We lost touch over the years when I was moving about the continent. I was pleased to read her name in the paper when she worked at American Crystal. I am saddened that we never reconnected. So happy that she spent many years enjoying life. My memories of her always end in a smile.
Kari’s family and friends, we’re so sorry to hear about Kari’s passing. We served with her in the North Dakota Army National Guard in Hillsboro many years ago. We lost track of her throughout the years. She found her passions and joys. That makes me smile. We had many fun times together. Never forget her smile!!!
