Katherine A. Pfaff-Dehn

March 5, 1952 ~ June 21, 2025
Katherine Ann Pfaff-Dehn, 73, of Enderlin, ND, passed away on June 21, 2025.
Kathy was born in Fargo, ND, on March 5, 1952, and grew up in rural Nome, ND. She graduated from high school in Enderlin, ND, in 1970, and attended NDSCS, where she met Alan Schlotfeldt. They married in 1972 and together had five children: Michelle, Robb, Vicki, Natalie, and Jay.
After their divorce, Kathy joined the U.S. Army in 1986 and served honorably for 8 years. She later settled back in Enderlin and married Michael Dehn in 2009. Between the two of them they had 7 children, 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Kathy loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Her presence will be deeply missed—whether playing card games, baking treats with the grandkids, BINGO, visiting with family and friends, day trips to the casino, shooting pool and cheering on those she loved during their sporting events.
Kathy’s strength, humor, and unconditional love touched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will live on through the stories told, the laughter shared, and the love passed down from generation to generation.

She will be greatly missed. Prayers for her family.
Kathy only enjoyed a few years of retirement. We worked at the North Dakota Veterans Home. When I retired she told me one more year and I will be retiring. She will be missed by many.
Kathy was so loved by me. We spent a lot of time together playing pool and trying to solve all the worlds problems. She was the best, with sound advice and encouragement. We worked together as a team. Always willing to help with anything. I will take her great friendship always. She meant the world to me.
Sending a prayer to Kathy’s family, that they will find comfort and peace. She was a good friend and neighbor.
Last Tuesday I went to Cash Wise Foods on 52nd. I pulled into my parking space and a woman got out of the vehicle facing me. She just stood there looking at me. I thought what did I do. When I got out, I realized that it was Kathy. We had the biggest hug and visited for a while. Mike was sitting in the car so it wasn’t long, but it was nice to catch up after not seeing her for a long time. Her tragic death has made me think about all the good times we all had and our chance final meeting. ❣️💔💔

So sorry for your loss – thinking of you all. She will always be remembered by us for her softball batting ability! She was such a little mite, but boy could she hit that ball!! Passed that on to her kids too! Enjoy all the wonderful memories from everyone – and remember she will be with you always…..
Kathy, we miss you already…thank you for loving my brother and being in his life. Love you always.
Kathy was “Mom” and roommate to me while we were stationed in Germany together. She was such a loving lady. Condolences to her family.
So very sorry for your loss of Kathy and Mike. Both were super nice people and know the family must be heartbroken. I have many good memories of high school shenanigansP with her and the Harem..
