Katie passed away at Sanford Hospital in Fargo 9/7/2022.

Katie graduated from Kindred High School.

Katie was a long-time resident of the New Horizons center in Fargo.

Katie loved to read and write. Her stories always had a wonderful and vivid imagination.

Although relegated to a wheelchair for life due to cerebral palsy,(which she rarely let stop her) our Katie was quick as a whip, very opinionated, and not afraid to let you know it.

Katie is survived by her parents Michael and Beverly, brothers Travis(Kami), John, Thomas(Jessie), Willie; nephews, Zack, Gage, Zarrett (Elizabeth), Zaden, Liam, Grayson, and Wyatt, niece Krishanna. As well as a great number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Katie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph and Mary Ann, Ted and Marzy and her Aunt Diane.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M. on 9/10 at St Maurice’s Catholic Church in Kindred, ND.

As Katie was prone to give things away to people that she thought needed it more than her, in lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity with her in mind.
