Resided in:
Fargo, ND
Kathleen M Beeson, notorious Bingo and Scrabble aficionado left us to be with our Lord on August 8th, 2022 at the age of 95. She was born to Arnold & Elizabeth Norberg on June 15th 1927 in the far away land of Dilworth MN. She met her husband William Beeson at the Crystal Ballroom in 1949, and they married the next year. They had their hands full raising 7 children and when the youngest started school she decided it was career time. She held various positions including Credit Services, Herbst Dept Store and then settling for an admin position at NDSU. She was known for riding her bike to and from campus, sometimes with such speed and intensity she found herself in the back of an ambulance after car interference. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, supportive wife, devout Catholic, and the perfect balance of sweet and sassy. She will be missed by her children Betty Sholl, Fargo, John Beeson (Jot),Mpls, William Beeson, Mpls, Patsy Chapman (Casey),Fargo, Peggy DuBord (Larry), Fargo, and Terry Beeson, Cannon Falls. She also leaves behind 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, her husband William, and her oldest daughter Nancy.

When we moved to the neighborhood Kathy was the first person to welcome us with a plate of brownies. She was a bright light on our street, always bringing her delightful personality to the block parties. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family as you grieve her loss. May her wonderful legacy continue in each of you.

Betty, John and Family,
Having been to your house many times in the past, I know how joyful your Mother was and fun to be around. I was so glad to see her at St. Mary’s serving when one of my parents passed.
What a kind heart she had. So sorry for your loss and know I am thinking of you all at this time.
