Kathy Srur

Kathy A. Srur, 46 of Fargo, died Monday, January 02, 2006 in her home. Kathy Ann Dimke was born on October 30, 1959 in Moorhead, MN to Kenneth and Janice (Jacobson) Dimke. When she was 1 year old, the family moved to Fergus Falls, where she graduated from high school in 1978. She attended community college in Fergus Falls and then moved to Fargo and was employed with WW Wallworks and First Bank. She married Todd Srur on June 22, 1985 at Grace United Methodist Church in Fergus Falls. When her first child was born she began providing daycare in her home until 1995. She also became office manager and secretary for Todd?s business until 2004. Kathy was active in PTA and her children?s schooling in the nurse?s and food service departments. She was an active member and volunteer at Calvary United Methodist Church in Fargo. She enjoyed following her children?s activities, painting water colors, and decorating for Halloween, which was her special holiday as it was the day after her birthday. Kathy was a wonderful wife, mother and daughter and a friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth. Kathy is survived by her husband, Todd of Fargo; children, Jace and Jake of Fargo; mother, Janice Dimke of Fergus Falls, MN; siblings, Bruce Dimke of Fargo, Julie (Craig) Harris of Catoosa, OK; nieces and nephews, Evan and Bria Dimke of Fargo, Raime and Chandler Harris of Catoosa, OK, Tyler and Hayley Srur of Grand Forks, ND and aunts and uncles. The funeral service will be on Friday, January 6, 2006 at 11:00 am in Calvary United Methodist Church, Fargo. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church on Friday and also on Thursday from 5-7 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
