Fargo, North Dakota- formerly of Rothsay, Minnesota Katy passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at her home in Fargo, at the age of 24. Katlyn was born on November 26, 1997. She grew up on the Sillerud Farm near Rothsay, MN, the daughter of Dean and Cindy (Neuleib) Sillerud. Katy loved her days on the farm, working with the animals – the calves, the family dog, Sophie, and the many cats. She also enjoyed helping on the farm by driving tractor, bobcat and truck. Katy attended Rothsay Public School and graduated in 2016. She then attended MSUM for a semester, and later began working in the food industry. She was a cook at several places in Fargo/Moorhead area. Katy was lucky enough to find her real calling recently - working with pet grooming. She was always happy to help others. Katy is survived by her parents – Dean and Cindy Sillerud of Rothsay, MN; her brother, Brandon Sillerud; her sister, Andrina (Jordan) Duphorn; her grandparents - Mildred Boen, and Roger and Audrey Neuleib; her aunts and uncles – Kirk (Robin) Neuleib and Kyle (Sheila) Neulieb; and her cousins. Katy was preceded in death by her grandfather, Cal Boen; and her aunt, Joan Hiller. A private family service will take place at a later date. 2. I always enjoyed Katie. She was kind and enjoyed spending time at the Lake swimming and hanging out. She was willing to help with anything regarding serving others. She had a lot of talent s but didn’t give herself enough credit for what she was capable of doing. She will be missed. She was a pleasure to be around. May the Lord comfort family and friends and encourage them to seek the Lord’s peace at this time. Bless the memory of Katie. Love cousin Violet Hohman.
