Kenneth Stock

Kenneth E. Stock, 67, 1307 Cossette Drive, Fargo, died Monday, July 7, 2003, in Innovis Health, Fargo. Kenneth was born at Lisbon, ND, on June 16, 1936, the son of Verne and Cornelia (Wolters) Stock. He grew up on a farm near Lakota. In 1950, the family moved to Fargo, where Kenneth attended Shanley High School. He married Gloria ?Fern? Cossette on June 27, 1953, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Moorhead, MN. The couple lived in Wahpeton, ND, where he graduated from North Dakota State School of Science in 1957 with a degree in telephone communications. He began working at Northwestern Bell Telephone in Fargo. He retired from Northwestern Bell in 1977. The couple owned and operated Andrews Steak House and Hamilton Motel, both in Rugby, until 1986. They sold the business and returned to Fargo, where he sold cars for Corwin. He then worked as a business long distance salesman until the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; children, Cheri Rodenburg, Fargo, Steven Stock (Diana), Eagan, MN, Connie May (Don), Peoria, AZ, Jerry Stock (Toni), Sioux Falls, SD, John Stock (Carol), Scottsdale, AZ, and David Stock, Mitchell, SD; mother, Cornelia Stock, Moorhead; three brothers, Dr. Donald (Dorothy) Stock, Fargo, Eugene Stock, Las Cruces, NM, and Roger Stock, Bismarck, ND; 10 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father, Verne; sister, Beverly; and daughter, Michelle. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Friday in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
