Kenneth Waldorf

Kenneth J. Waldorf, 63, Hunter, ND, died Sunday, December 5, 2004, in Hoven, SD. Kenneth was born June 17, 1941 in Perham, MN to Joseph and Bernice (Fiedler) Waldorf. Kenneth graduated from Perham High School in 1959 and entered the U. S. Army. He served in Germany and trained as a mechanic there. Kenneth married Sharon Miller on August 8, 1964 at St. Leo?s Catholic Church in Casselton, ND. They lived in the Casselton area for 31 years. Kenneth was a truck driver for 33 years. He and Sharon moved to Hunter in 1993 and were members of the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hunter. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Sharon, Hunter; two daughters, Delores (Gary) Grommesh, Casselton, and Bernice (Keith) Wiger, Moorhead, MN; one son, Brian Waldorf, San Juan, Puerto Rico; two brothers, Robert (Pat), Brainerd, MN, and Russell, Ray, MN; three sisters, Geraldine (Butch) Huwe, Arthur, ND, JoAnne (Ed) Lillis, Detroit Lakes, MN, and Mary (Arthur) Anderson, Detroit Lakes; three grandchildren, Shawna, Travis, and Jared Grommesh, Casselton; and many nieces and nephews. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Bernice; stepmother, Helen; sister, Delores Ann Waldorf; brother, James Arthur Waldorf; and father and mother-in-law Randall and LaVerne Miller. The funeral for Kenneth will be Friday, December 10, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo?s Catholic Church in Casselton, ND. Visitation will be Thursday, December 9, 2004, from 4-7 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at St. Leo?s Catholic Church in Casselton.
