Kevin’s funeral Mass will begin below at 2:00 PM Monday November 13, 2023

In loving memory of Kevin Watson, who passed away on November 5, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on October 17, 1959, in Bloomington, Minnesota, Kevin was the beloved son of Richard and Veronica Watson.

Kevin spent his formative years in Bloomington and went on to graduate from Detroit Lakes High School in 1979. His journey in life led him to Moorhead, Minnesota, where he was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Melissa and Andrea. Eventually, he found his way to Horace, North Dakota, where his son Richard completed their loving family.

Throughout his life, Kevin held various roles, including driving trucks for Pam Oil and Cole Papers Inc., as well as serving as a warehouse supervisor at Cole Papers Inc. He also drove forklift for Sky Logistics. His dedication and strong work ethic were well-known, earning him the respect of his colleagues and superiors alike.

Kevin had a love for adventure and embraced every opportunity to explore. Whether riding snowmobiles, playing video games, or driving his beloved black Harley Ford truck, he truly lived life to the fullest. One of his greatest joys was riding his motorcycle, as he embarked on countless journeys and proudly checked off all but three states on his list.

Above all else, Kevin cherished the time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. His devotion to his loved ones knew no bounds, and he delighted in creating lasting memories with them. Kevin’s kind and generous spirit extended beyond his family, as he selflessly served as a volunteer firefighter in Horace, always ready to help those in need.

In his memory, Kevin will be forever celebrated as a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle, a loyal friend, and a dedicated community member. His legacy will live on through the indelible impact he made on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Kevin is survived by his children, Melissa Watson, Andrea Watson, and Richard (Tifanie) Watson; grandchildren, Kitiara, Killian, Ashlin, Max; siblings, Mike, Dan (Deanie), Debbie (Rodney) Pickrain; and nieces and nephews, Kyle (Katie), Kody (Jessica), and Samantha Pickrain.
Kevin is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Rick.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Red River Valley Hospice for their care of Kevin.
