A life well lived came to a peaceful close. Kim Booth, 65, Fargo, ND died Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in his sleep.

Kim D. Booth was born July 26, 1959 in Moorhead, MN to Loren and Marjorie (Gensler) Booth. He graduated from Fargo South High School in 1977. Kim married Barbara Gust in 1982. Together they made their home in Fargo and started a family.

Kim worked his entire life at Booth Delivery Service. He realized a lifelong dream in 2004 when he bought the business from his uncle, Howard Gensler.

In 1994 Kim bought 20 acres of raw land on North Turtle Lake. He spent the next 30 years developing that land into his perfect playground.

Kim and Barb loved to travel. On one of their vacations, they traveled to Maui and decided that was the place they were going to spend their winters when Kim retired. Kim loved to collect things and he left behind a lot of stuff his wife has no idea what to do with. At the lake he loved to fish, grill, swim, and work on his endless projects. Kim enjoyed playing poker and hosted a regular Wednesday night poker game for many years. But, his absolute favorite thing to do was hang out with his grandsons.

Kim is survived by his wife, children Adam and Megan; grandsons Gunner Schwantes and Evan Booth; mother Marge (Jerry) Ottesen; brother Loren Booth; sister Amanda Booth; the best sister-in-law a guy could ask for, Diane Reveling; his best friend, Dan Ness, and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Loren and sister Wendy Camp.
