Guestbook

  1. Early in my Air Guard career, I got to know LaVane through his frequent visits to the Engine Shop where he’d shoot the breeze with Duane Hinsperger and others who’d made the ND Air Guard into the success it has become. He occasionally could be talked into playing a card game of “Hearts” while yucking it up with everyone. LaVane was a well-remembered bit of the fabric we called the Happy Hooligans…he shall be remembered with fondness. Condolences to the family.

  2. Steph and Kitty

So sorry to hear of Lavane’s passing. We enjoyed his visits when we lived in the cities and you and Paul brought him to visit us in Circle Pines. Very nice man. Sending our sympathy.

  3. Lavane’s family, you have our sympathy and condolence on hearing that he has passed away, I worked with him for many years when we were members of the Happy Hooligans, I had the Base Training Office and Lavane was the Cam Squadron training manager he was excellent to work with and always more then willing to carry his share of the load while helping the Happy Hooligans to become the best unit in the Air Force and would aways have a smile on his face whenever you saw him. Fly High-Old Friend= Fly High

  4. Dear Stephanie and Mike, i am so sorry about the loss of you Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hugs to you.
