LaVerne Olson

LaVerne Olson Fargo, North Dakota LaVerne passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at MeritCare Palliative Care Unit in Fargo at the age of 81. LaVerne Cartier was born on November 2, 1925 in Williston, ND, the daughter of Mose and Vinnie (Alberg) Cartier. She grew up in Williston and graduated high school. LaVerne was united in marriage to Dale Olson on May 1, 1945. After Dale?s discharge from the armed services, they returned to Fargo where they made their home. LaVerne worked many years raising her family. She was a devoted member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fargo for over 50 years. LaVerne is survived by her children, Vicki (Dave) Adstrom of Shoreview, MN; Mary (Bob) Becker of Pembroke Pines, FL; Mark (Joanne) Olson of Sioux Falls, SD; and Katie (Rick) Guptill of Moorhead, MN; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Her parents; her husband; two daughters, Linda Stanley and Peggy Wahl; two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
