Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Lawrence was such a kind and compassionate soul and was always a joy to be near him. I have very fond memories of being with him on the farm, on occasional tree jobs, boating on lake Detroit, and family visits with him and Eileen at his home and at ours. I can only imagine the joy he is presently experiencing in the presence of our Savior, Jesus.

  2. One of my favorite army vets. The well pump he installed was always malfunctioning so I seen him jumping down the hole in the middle of night on occasion. He told me he was the one who towed the wreckage of his dad accident home…at 14 yrs. Last time I met with him I assured him I would never return to fargo Moorhead…I’m proud I kept my word to him. I know he cut a tree down in Dilworth, but that’s about all I really know of his doins.

  3. Lawrence was always a kind hearted person. I also remember family visits on the farm during some holidays. He is now with God our Lord and Savior. God Bless. He will be greatly missed. Love Barry and Sheila.

  4. So sorry for your loss
Rsp Larry u r all better now

  5. Such a pleasure being able to spend time with him and my grandmother Elaine growing up. Thoughts and prayers with the family during this time.

  6. Sandy and family, so sorry for your loss. He will missed by so many. He was such a great guy, and everybody who knew him loved him. We shared the same bday Nov 3rd! RIP Larry

  7. Sending prayers for the family. Larry was very well loved and an out going person. He lived a good life. Had a lot of laughs with the family in my younger years. Wish I would have gotten the chance to visit. Love you Larry and you will be missed dearly.

  8. Jeannie JohnsonThorson says:

So sorry Sandy, Mark and Todd. I’ve always enjoyed being with your family over the years. I remember dancing with your dad. He was a very good dancer. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your family. Larry and Eileen were so kind and caring. God’s blessings to all of you.

  9. I have known Larry since I was about 10 years old. He was a great guy. He always had a smile on his face.
    He will be missed.

  10. Jeffrey C. Weitzel says:

Larry was a neighbor behind me on the next block, for 29 years before we moved. He did quite a bit of tree pruning and removal for me. Always did a good job and very conscientious. A good neighbor also! I just didn’t like seeing him up on his roof removing snow in his 80’s and 90’s!
My sympathy goes out to the Fischer family, especially Chris, who later took care of my trees and snow removal.
Larry was a good guy and Chris has followed in his grandfather’s foot steps. I thank both of you for your service to my yard!

  11. Larry was a wonderful man. He will be deeply missed. May God Bless you and Rest in Peace Larry.

  12. I love you Grandpa always and forever in my heart💜💜
