Lee Steffens

Lee James Steffens born October 10, 1936 to Henry and Emma Steffens of Wahpeton. He attended schools in Wahpeton and then moved to Fargo 1969. He then met and married Karen Larson Sept 5, 1970. Four sons were born to this union; Jason (Karma) Michael, Matthew, Jeremy (Angela). Then 5 grandchildren followed; Josh, Kalyn, Cole, Thomas and Carter and 3 special Papa’s girls: Zoe, Katelyn and Alisha.
He is survived by his brothers-in-law Steven (Diane) Larson, Harry Samuelson, sister-in-law Cheryl Larson and treasured nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son Michael, brothers; Melvin, Emery (Margaret), sisters; Lois Samuelson and Lorraine (Ralph) Larson and brother-in-law Dayton Larson.
Lee was a loving devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to all.

Lee and Karen have been the most wonderful neighbors I could have asked for for over the 30 years I have lived next door to them! He will be greatly missed! My condolences to Karen & all the boys.
