Lenna Alderman

Lenna Alderman, age 79, Fargo, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2005, in Manor Care Health Services, Fargo. Lenna Leah Alderman was born to Harvey and Minnie Hope Alderman on March 29, 1926 in Fargo. She was educated in Fargo as well. She started working as a waitress at the Airport Caf?. She went on to work at the Telephone Company as a cook and baker until she and her sister, Lois, took over ownership of the Telephone Cafeteria. They operated it together for 42 years. She retired in 1992. Lenna enjoyed watching baseball. She especially liked the Fargo/Moorhead Twins when they were in town and rarely missed a game. She also spent countless hours working in her flowers as long as she was able. She was a member of the American Legion and the VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by her siblings: Beulah Nelson, Fargo, ND, Lois Alderman, Fargo, Alta Eng (Duane), Denver, CO, Lowell (Lois) Alderman, Fargo, Ralph (Bea) Alderman, Fargo, Florence (Leland) Hans, Davenport, ND; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Harold Alderman and Marian Honcik. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Peace Lutheran Church, Fargo. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Visitation will also be held in the church on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
