Lenna’s service will be livestreamed below starting at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 8, 2025.

Lenna St. John, daughter of Evalina Eagleman and Douglas St. John was born October 3rd, 1972 in Devils Lake ND. She and her other siblings (Lisa & Tracy) lived a hard life growing up and always had to fight hard for everything. Unfortunately, at a young age she was tested to the max of her life, between living on the streets of Minneapolis, losing her brother Tracy, and being in and out of bad foster/group homes. She and her sister (Lisa) always stayed by each other’s sides and worked hard at supporting one another through all the hardships they had to endure. Luckily a beautiful sole named Amelia LeNoir brought both girls into her home and she became Lenna’s mother.

Lenna attended Warwick school and Devils Lake High School. She had fun trying out and becoming a cheerleader while she was attending Warwick. After high school Lenna got a flagging job at Hard Drive Construction where she met her first husband Dean Luukkonen. Park Rapids MN is where they made their home together and welcomed their two beautiful girls, Evalina and Mallory. Living in such a beautiful area is when Lenna’s love for hunting and fishing began and grew!! After living in MN for many years they decided to move back to Devils Lake ND and that is where they went their separate ways. Although they were not married anymore, Lenna always held a special place in her heart for Dean.

After life in ND Lenna did a lot of moving around and just lived her life the way she wanted, which was an amazing thing for her as she got to see more of the world. It didn’t matter where she was or what she was doing, she was always loved and had that beautiful smile. Towards the last few years of her life, she worked on herself and just wanted to love her grandkids to the fullest. Watching her grandkids run around and watching her own kiddos grow into amazing young women and mothers brought her such joy.

On January 27th, 2025 Lenna died unexpectedly at her home in Fargo ND.

She survived by her two daughters, Evalina (Steve) Luukkonen and Mallory (Anthony) Luukkonen; grandchildren, who were her whole heart, Eli, Isabelle, Logan, Steven, and Clyde Dean, siblings, Lisa (Troy) McPhail, Sharon Tester, Joann Johnson, Mary Monette, Jerry LeNoir, Joe LeNoir, Jackie LeNoir, Lee LeNoir, Leroy LeNoir, and Genia Jetty; Nieces, Tasha (Patrick) Douglas, Breanna (Johnny) Phelps, Nevada Wilkie; nephews, Patrick Asleson and Koldyn Wilkie; and her two great nephews and two great nieces.

Lenna was preceded in Death by birth mother, Evalina Eagleman; life mother, Amelia LeNoir; and brothers, Tracy Eagleman, Elmer Jetty, Jeff LeNoir, James LeNoir, and John LeNoir.
