Lenord Suhr

Lenord E. Suhr, 72, Fargo, ND died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Veteran's Hospital, Fargo, ND. 

Lenord was born November 5, 1938 in Hebron, ND to Henry and Freida (Lennick) Suhr.  He grew up and graduated from Hebron, attended college in Bismarck,   He enlisted in the U.S. Army.   His tour of duty was in Germany. In 1969 he married Phyllis Gramberg and they lived in Watertown, SD.   He worked at the Red Owl and Olan Mills.  He belonged to Grace Lutheran Church.  He moved to Fargo and lived there till the time of his death.  Lenord worked for Piggly Wiggly and eventually Crystal Sugar. 

Lenord enjoyed sports and was an avid Twins and Vikings fan.  He was a caring and quiet man who loved his children and family.

Lenord was survived by children Lynnette Suhr, Watertown, SD; Jason Suhr, Watertown, Step-sons Dean(Connie) Stromseth, Hutchinson, MN; Ross (Sue) Stromseth, Sioux Falls, SD; Brothers:  Llewellyn (Maryanne) Suhr, Fargo, Lyle (Kari) Suhr, Indianapolis, IN;  and Lloyd (Deb) Suhr ,Bismarck, ND.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Delores Sailer and brother Lester Suhr.

The Service for Lenord will be Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 1:00pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
