  10. To the Mueller family: We are so sorry to hear of Lilas’ death. She was a great neighbor when we lived next door to her for a time. One time, Lilas had given us some of her really good homemade cookies. Our kids and grandkids were here and I later learned that our young grandson and his cousin went over and knocked on the door and asked for more cookies. Of course, Lilas gave them some. I later apologized to her and she said she didn’t mind at all. That was Lilas and her willingness to share. She was a neat woman and our sympathies go out to all of you.
