  5. David, DeDe, Mark, Wayne, Nancy, Neil and Dan- Our deepest sympathy to all of you. I’ve known your parents since we were kids growing up a block away from you and attending St. Joe’s with you. I also remember events at the Catholic War Vets and at St. Joe’s where our parents were both very involved. More recently my husband, Dennis, and I spent time visiting your mom as we were Eventide Escorts and would either escort your Mom down to the Catholic Church service on Sunday mornings, or bring communion to her in her room. Even through her breathing issues, she always had a smile on her face and would tell us about an adventure she was going on later that day at one of your homes. She was a special lady and we will miss our visits with her.

    God Bless you all!

  16. Bruns Family,
I am saddened to hear that your mother has passed away. I will remember her as kind and patient woman. There are very few people who could have tolerated a dozen screaming neighborhood children, running around the outside of their house at 9pm on a Friday night, playing Annie-I-Over or Kick-The Can. However, I am greatly thankful that she allowed this ritual because it is still one of my fondest childhood memories. My deepest condolences.

  17. So sorry to hear about Lila’s.My thoughts are with you Nancy and all your family. She was an awesome lady.
