Lloyd Abentroth

Lloyd Abentroth Fargo, North Dakota Lloyd C. Abentroth, age 93, of Fargo, ND died on April 17, 2007 at Innovis Hospital. Lloyd was born on May 20, 1913 to Charles and Daisy (Bingham) Abentroth near Cummings, ND. He graduated from Caledonia High School. He married Lionne S. Wright on October 20, 1937 at Lionne's home near Caledonia, ND. They farmed for 37 years East of Cummings, ND until he retired 1975, and then moved to Fargo in 1982. He was active in many church and community activities throughout his life. Lloyd and Lionne were members of Hillsboro United Methodist Church and Edgewood Methodist Church after moving to Fargo. He enjoyed farming and spending time with family. Lloyd is survived by his daughter, Mary Jo (Art) Berg of Fargo, ND; six grandchildren, Robert Abentroth, Lloyd Abentroth, Thomas Abentroth, Paul Merkens, Brenda Johnson, Lynda Merkens; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two brothers: Erle Abentroth of Hillsboro, ND, and Ray (Lorraine) Abentroth of Cummings, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son, Robert Abentroth, his brother, Fay; and a brother in infancy, Lewis.
