Lloyd Jensen, a beloved dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on October 15, 2026, at HIA Hospice House, surrounded by his beloved family.

Lloyd was born on May 27, 1932, in Fargo to Arthur and Bessie (Ladlie) Jensen. He attended and graduated from Fargo Central High School.
Lloyd’s life changed forever when he married MaryEllen Klocke in 1951. The couple eventually settled in Moorhead in 1956, where they lovingly raised their five perfect children.

Lloyd was a quiet family man who loved taking in the world around him. He cherished spending time at the lakes and finding peace and solitude in the woods. He was a devoted member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and served as a Cub Scout leader for many years. Lloyd looked forward to the coffee meet ups at The Fryin’ Pan with his friends and completing the latest crossword puzzle. He also thoroughly enjoyed traveling and taking vacations with his family, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Lloyd was truly selfless and humble, and his family was his world. He was a devoted dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa who never missed an opportunity to remind his family how much they were loved. His love, quiet presence, and dedication to his family will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Lloyd was survived by in death by his children, Wayne (Celeste) Jensen, Debra (Timothy) Fraser, Valerie Jensen, Vicki (Mark) Orvik, Heidi (Matt) Mayer; grandchildren, Emily (Derek) Valenzuela, Ryan (Tiffany) Fraser, Danielle (Jason) Lybek, Amy Mattson, Adam (Amanda) Muellenbach, Alicia (Ryan) Turner, Matthew (Jessica) Orvik, Tanner Mayer, Parker (Carlee) Mayer; great grandchildren, Myles, Siena and Zara Valenzuela, Jameison Meinen, Cade Lybek, and Alexandra Lybek, Max and Sean Fraser, Emma and Avery Mattson, Addison and Owen Muellenbach, Lily and Logan Turner, Brielle Orvik and one on the way; sister, Bonnie Manning; brother; Leland Jensen; and many nieces and nephews.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, MaryEllen; parents; and 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
