Lloyd Sathre

Lloyd Sathre, 82, Fargo, formerly Tuttle, ND died Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at Villa Maria. Lloyd Norman Sathre, the son of Hans and Carrie (Carlson) Sathre, was born September 2, 1922 on the family farm near Tuttle. He grew up on the family farm and attended a country school near Tuttle. Lloyd farmed with his brother Oscar, retiring in 1994. He moved to Fargo in 1995 and has lived at Villa Maria for the past two years. Lloyd was a pilot and at one time flew his own plane. He was a kind, gentle, soft spoken man, who always had a big smile. He is survived by his brother, Oscar, Fargo; two sisters, Gladys Sannes and Hilda Morrow, both Fargo; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Helmer and Raymond, and his sister, Inga Kramer.
