Lois Olson, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Eventide, Moorhead, MN.

Lois Mae Katze was born on July 7, 1946, in Watertown, SD, to Garrit and Bettie Katze.

Lois, a spirited and adventurous soul, had a childhood filled with movement as her family relocated frequently. Eventually, her family settled in West Fargo, ND, where she eventually met and married John Webber. Of this union brought three children, Brenda, John Jr., and Chad. Later, Lois met and married Vincent Olson, gaining two stepchildren, Mike and Kim Olson, in the process. Lois held various jobs over the years, including waitressing and childcare, and prior to retirement, was employed for an impressive 20 years at the American Legion.

Known for her love of television, especially soap operas, Lois never missed an episode. Playing cards was also one of her favorite pastimes, as she would often gather her friends for an evening of laughter and friendly competition.

However, above all, Lois cherished her family. Her devotion and love knew no bounds, and she treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren.

Lois May Olson will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her vibrant spirit, her warm heart, and the love she brought into the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Lois is survived by her sons, John Webber Jr. and Chad Webber; grandchildren, John, Adam, Nikki, Brandon, and Karlee; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Luna and Paisley; stepchildren Michael and Kim.

Lois was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Schoen; her grandson, Zachary Webber; her parents, Garrit and Bettie Katze; and her ex-husbands, John Webber Sr. and Vince Olson.
