Lona Hermanson
Lona Hermanson, 57, Fargo, ND passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Sanford Hospice House in Fargo. Lona Joan Hermanson was a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. She was born on September 27, 1963 in Carrington, ND. She was the fifth daughter to Larry Binder & Karen (Tesch) Renner. She attended school in Chisholm MN, and graduated from Century High in Bismarck, ND.
Lona was a loving and compassionate person who loved to throw the best Halloween parties. She had the most beautiful smile and bright blue eyes that could light up your soul.
Lona loved plants, being at the lake, her yard, family game nights and crafting. She had the most infectious laugh.
The relationship she had with her sisters was not like any other. Lona was the ultimate gift giver and party planner.
Most of all she loved and adored her husband Rob, their children, their spouses, and grandchildren; they were her world.
She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Binder; her grandparents, Emil and Elizabeth Binder; Woodrow and Germaine Tesch and her step father Harold Renner. Lona is survived by her loving husband, Robert, her adoring children, Nate Hermanson (Mari), Kayla Robley (Travis), Grandchildren Anna and Yves; mother Karen Renner; sisters Deb Marturano (Joe), Gail Sampson, Gaye Nakaji (Robert) and Princess Fredrickson (John). Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lona will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo with a visitation one hour prior. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home’s website.
Oh Lona I can’t imagine my life without you…You were my very best friend for so many years, I think of all the wonderful memories we made and I am so thankful for each of them and will never forget them. Rob, Kayla, & Nate I am so very sorry for your loss, she was a wonderful wife, Mother, and Grandmother.When I found out Kayla was having a baby my thoughts were what a lucky child, and how she was so good to Anna, the best Grandma ever. I will keep you all in my prayers. Karen to lose a daughter my heart is breaking for you, I love you and will continue to keep praying for you. Deb, Gaye, Gail, & Princess to lose your little sister I know how hard it is for all of you. Hang on to those memories you have made. Thank you for letting me spend some time with her at the end. My heart is very heavy and will be for a long time. I love you all so much.

We are so sorry for your loss. Lona brightened up our Sungate Drive neighborhood, especially at Halloween with her amazing costumes, decorations, and parties. She was a gem whose creativity, smile and kindness will be missed. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Lona you are so special. Teaching tacos in a bag and making omelettes in freezer bags Always had fun when your laugh silliness would make a room light up. How blessed I was to enjoy some times with you and all your sisters’ I can’t wait to see how many rooms you fix up in heaven

Lana was a wonderful woman who knew how to brighten everyone’s day. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Our condolences to her Family, especially Rob, Kayla, and Nathan.
