Lorraine Gunstenson

Lorraine A. Gunstenson, 66, of Fargo, ND passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Palliative Care Unit of Meritcare Hospital with her family by her side. Lorraine (Lory) Huus was born on December 31, 1942 in Parshall, North Dakota to Oscar and Pearl Huus. Lorraine grew up and attended school there, graduating from Parshall High School in 1960. She then attended UND in Grand Forks. Lorraine married Arlen (Archie) Gunstenson in Parshall on October 17, 1964. They lived in Grand Forks before moving to Fargo where Lorraine worked at A&T Supply in Moorhead until retiring. She is survived by her husband, Arlen, Fargo; children Amy (Fernando) Ochoa, Fargo, and Jill (Pete) Anderson, Chanhassen, MN, three grandchildren; Jordan Ochoa, Jack Anderson, and Will Anderson, sister, Donna (Garfield) Bosman, Grand Forks, ND, brother, Gordon (Berniece) Huus, Parshall, ND, and sister Ardyce (Rick) Haugen, Bismarck, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Pearl Huus, and her brothers Clayton and Oscar Huus. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at First Lutheran Church, Fargo, with a visitation from 10:00-11:00.
