Lorraine Jacqueline Hennum, a beloved mother and cherished member of the community, passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 81. Her gentle presence and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Lorraine was born on August 18, 1942, in Medina, North Dakota, to Helen (Hins) Ackerman and David Martel. She grew up in Medina and Streeter area. Lorraine worked at the nursing home and at the local grocery store after her schooling. She enjoyed crafts and was a gifted creative.
Lorraine was united in marriage to Stanley on July 26, 1964. They made their home in Manson Ia. and later moved to Medina N.D together and raised 2 children: Winston and Russell.
She is survived by two sons, Winston and Russell, her sister Adeline and many close cousins that she grew up with.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley (d. 2004), her parents, and many aunts and uncles.
