Lukas Kringen, 45, of Fargo, ND, passed away on November 26, 2024.
Lukas was born on September 19, 1979 in Fargo, ND to Bill and Bonita Kringen. He attended Westside Elementary in West Fargo and then finished grade school in rural Harwood, ND. He attended middle school in West Fargo, before graduating from West Fargo High School in 1998. He furthered his education at Bismarck State College, earning an associates degree in 2007.
Lukas had a successful career spanning over 25 years at Xcel Energy where he held various positions before ultimately becoming a line crew foreman at the Fargo Xcel Service Center.
Outside of work, Lukas was a dedicated fan of the NDSU Bison Football team and the Minnesota Vikings. He cherished spending time with family and friends and enjoyed taking his dogs, Henley and Watson for walks.
Lukas was a loving husband, father, friend and son and he will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Lukas is survived by his wife BreAnne (Brucker) Kringen; his children, Madi Olson, Kelby Kringen, Elias Kringen, and Theo Kringen; his parents, Bill and Bonita Kringen; his brothers, Dirk Kringen and Barrett Kringen; his sister, Marnie (Ernie) Stock and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life open house will be held by Lukas’ family on December 22, 2024 at the Horace Community Center from 2 pm – 5 pm.

Kringen family, I’ve been praying for you since I became aware of Lukas’ death. I always enjoyed talking with Lukas when I’d see him at work. I remember when he was hired all those years ago. May God comfort you as you walk through this incredibly difficult time.

Very personable with a warm smile and greeting for everyone…always with a quick witty remark…i just treasured knowing that young man! I have the fondest memories of teaching both Marnie and Lucas at Harwood Elementary. I ll always remember Lucas for his kindness and warmth. Years later I ran into him and saw the same character as an adult. My heart hurts for your loss. Please feel my sincere sympathy. I m so sorry I missed his service.
