Lynn Richmond

Lynn B. Richmond, 69, of Walcott, ND passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at his home. Lynn was born December 10, 1946 in Deer Lodge, MT to Jerold and Lucille (Cohoon) Richmond and grew up in Post Falls, ID. After graduating from high school, Lynn began his military career, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. Lynn worked several years as a Navy recruiter in Fargo, and then spent the rest of his military service stationed out of San Diego, CA. Following his retirement in 1988 at a rank of Master Sargent, Lynn worked in the legal field and in home remodeling. He returned to Fargo in 2000. Lynn married Donelle Salting on April 29, 2000 in Fargo. After working at Scheel’s Hardware and the Kelly Inn, he fully retired in 2004. Lynn took great pride in his gardens and yard, giving much of his bountiful harvest away. He also loved cooking, woodworking, and any kind of home improvement project. Lynn is survived by his wife, Donelle, of Walcott; sons James, Chad and Michael; daughters Christina, Lynnette, and Heather; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; brother Ron (Juanita) of Enumclaw, WA; brothers Michael and Rick; and sister Kearon. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Laurel. Visitation will be on Monday, December 28^th from 5pm-7pm at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo.
