Manuela Poni Job

manuela job

We have been grieving since October 13, 2022 until today October 29, 2022 because we have lost Manuela Poni Job, daughter of Mr. Job Lado and Mrs. Cizarina Moi. She was born on December 21, 1988 in Juba, South Sudan. Manuela is the first born and only female child (among five siblings).

Manuela was only 13 years old when she came to the United States in 2003. Her family had fled persecution of Christians in Sudan. Her parents dearly love her and her siblings; therefore, they always want the best for all their children. Manuela’s first city of residence in the United States was St. Antonio, Texas, where she attended middle school.

In December 2006, Manuela and her family moved to Fargo, North Dakota, where she continued to attend school. Manuela graduated in 2008 from South High School in Fargo, North Dakota. She then proceeded to attend college, for few years, in Iowa.

Manuela continued to reside in Fargo, North Dakota until October 13, 2022, the day she passed on. Relatives and friends will lay her to rest in this city, a place that had been her hometown for many years.

Manuela, raised as a catholic, was kind, loving and amiable; she had blessed lives of relatives, friends, and acquaintances. She loved children. Death has denied her a dream of her life ─ raising a family of her own. Her permanent absence among us brings tears to the eyes of family members, friends, and anyone who knew her. Manuela impacted and touched so many lives in positive ways not only in her hometown but wherever she went.

Manuela left behind her father (Mr. Job Lado), mother (Mrs. Cizarina Moi), four nephews, three nieces, and three brothers (David Okumu Job, Harrison Lagu Job, and Joel Ladu Job).

May the Almighty God rest her soul in peace and strengthen those she has left behind!

There is a hole in Aunty’s heart and family where you used to stand. There’s a hole in my heart for which I never planned. I will miss you every day until we meet again. Fly high and sleep easy cuz. Love you 😍 forever.

  8. Ella, I remember first time at Sharehouse meeting you. Vinegar and spice. You were so strong and beautiful. I loved our walks and talks daily. And seeing you again through my 2nd and 3rd stays. I am just learning about your passing, and I’m sorry I didn’t reach out more. Girl you lit up a room with that walk, talk and smile. Full of life. My heart aches knowing you’re gone, but absolutely not forgotten. You will always be in my heart girl. You have been on my mind for so long. Love you ella.
