Margaret Huschka

Margaret Huschka, 76 of Fargo, died Monday, March 17, 2008 at the Palliative Care unit of MeritCare Hospital in Fargo. Marge was born Margaret Ann Novotny to Frank and Agnes Novotny on June 9, 1931 in New Hradec, ND. She later married Leo Huschka on June 1, 1949 in Dickinson, ND. They lived in Dickinson until moving to Fargo in 1965. In 1980 Marge and Leo moved to Davenport, ND where she opened and operated the bar from 1986 to 2001. She had resided at Bethany Homes for the past two years. Marge is survived by sons: Donald (Patricia) of Alexandria, MN, David (Mary) of Kindred, ND, Dennis of New York, Duane (Michelle) of North Branch, MN; 9 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brothers: Louis Novotny of Fargo, ND and Charles (Margaret) Novotny of Bismarck, ND; sister: Georgianne (Gene) Desilets of Velva, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, step-mother, brother Andrew and grandchild, Timothy. Visitation: Sunday, March 23, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred, ND Funeral Service: Monday, March 24, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Maurice's Catholic Parish, Kindred, ND, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
