  1. Dear auntie… you got your angel wings!🪽🪽 To all the family, so sorry for your loss! She was a beautiful lady and we will miss her dearly! Home to her eternal life with Jesus and all that have gone before her!
Peace be with you Marie! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

    • Dear Family and Friends of Marie, I am sadden by the news of Marie’s Passing, she was always a role model in my heart and so much fun to talk with; and work beside in yesterday years during Our church Dinners and various functions at Saint Benedict’s.
I am so Sorry for your Loss, She was not only an “Amazing Woman,’ but also, an ‘Incredible, Human Being” with a Generous heart for everyone who touched her life!

Recently, I asked A long time church friend about her and was told, that Marie had been moved to Sheyenne Crossing . Unfortunately, when I called there Friday it was too late…. Marie, had earned her Angel Wings, and went back home to With Our Lord; so I will have to wait to Visit with her again , but I will forever hold dear the many Wonderful Memories shared growing up in St Benedict’s Parish with her and the Wonderful Family she created and the Many Wonderful Visits we had in her years at River View as well.

I always loved our long chats on the phone and no matter how much time passed in between each one of them, once we connected it seemed as though it was just yesterday when we had last spoken.
She had that special gift of bringing out the Best in everything and Everyone. Her Great sense of Wisdom and common sense approach to everything in life, from her hard working, Humble, Kind and Happy Disposition ,to her great style and flare for always being put together so well when she went into public, are just a few of the things I always admired and respected about Marie. …. and Most Importantly, her love of the Lord and For her Family and Friends and her willingness to help out others in need was always at the forefront of how she lived.
She had such pride in her all of her family and spoke with such Joy about all of you. her face would lite up whenever I asked about anyone of them she would always share how wonderfully Blessed she felt that you all took time to come visit her often. She loved you all Dearly…
Carol, Elaine, Cheryl, and Nancy because I knew You Best, along with Our Dearly Departed Audrey, Marie and I would often talk about your visits with her and How Very Proud she was of each and every one You and what a Great time she always had when you and your Families would share time with her! She would Always tel Me, “LaDonna, I’m so Lucky and Blessed to have them all, they are So Wonderful to me!”
I’d say, That’s a True Legacy of a Life well lived!

Marie not only showed her kindness to me, but also anyone I introduced her to at RiverView. Over the years I had several Elderly friends who moved there and I could always count on Marie’s Welcoming Heart, she so Naturally and so Warmly not only made time for Me, but also for my elderly friends who moved there, she made them all feel welcomed and right at home; inviting them to join her table in the dinning room and or stopping and visiting whenever she would see them out and about in the facility or in the dinning room. She would even call at times and let me know how they were doing and offer wonderful advice whenever she felt there was something that could help make their lives better at Riverview.
She had that special way of getting even the shyest of them to open up.
      God Bless Her!

I am sad to say, I hadn’t seen or spoken with Marie in over a year, due to me being away for much of it, but, I am Happy and Grateful, that when we lost spoke, she was still Sharp as a tack and the Wonderful, quick witted, warm hearted Marie, who I Always enjoyed talking with and Looked up to with Great admiration and Respect!

My Deepest Heart Felt Condolences to You All….

And …..Thank You Marie, for showing by Example what a Life Well Lived Truly means, You will be Dearly Missed!
      Warmly,
      LaDonna Muscha

  2. I’m so happy I got to visit with Auntie Marie when Kathleen and I went to visit her a couple of months ago where she was. She was really alert then and looked really good for being over 100 years old. (Sure hope I look as GOOD as she did then! But I know that I will never live to be as old as Auntie Marie is as I feel that I am over 100 now!!!! Any way, I am glad we went to see her when we did as it is a good memory to remember of Auntie Marie. We will see all of you the day of the funeral. Your Cousin, Phyllis Hamilton

  3. I worked part time in the dining room at Riverview and always enjoyed helping Marie. She was a cousin to my mother, Jeanette (Richard) Stromme. And Connie (Rheault) Meier was my best friend in highschool.

  4. I knew Marie from Riverview. Your mom was the sweetest person and was friendly to everyone. She loved BINGO and was good at it!😃Sending prayers for all.
