Marilyn LaVerne Locy, 89, Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully with family by her side December 31, 2024.
Marilyn was born August 31, 1935, in Oakland, CA. She was united in marriage with James Locy on May 16, 1953, until his death in 1997. Together they raised three children: Mark, Doreen and Stacey.
Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, baking, traveling and doting on her numerous pets through the years.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Doreen (Paul) Hurlburt; Stacey (David) Bush, both Fargo, ND; and, daughter-in-law, Jeannie Locy, Louisville, KY. Grandchildren Marc (Stephanie) Hurlburt, Jaime Foertsch, both of Fargo, ND; Peyton Bush, Edina, MN and Devin Bush, Fargo, ND. Great-grandchildren Jackson Allard, Jace Foertsch, Ella Hurlburt and Emmett Hurlburt all of Fargo.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Locy; son, Mark Locy; and many, many beloved pets.

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom! I remember her as being such a sweetheart. I was hoping that I might run into her sometime after she moved into the same building my Mom lives in but I never did. I am sure this is a difficult time for your whole family.
