Marion Johnson

Jeanette passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Eventide Lutheran Home in Moorhead, at the age of 89.
Marion Jeanette Gustafson was born on July 3, 1929, the daughter of Ole and Anna (Hanson) Gustafson, near Sharon, ND. Marion was united in marriage to Palmer Johnson and they made their home in Sharon where they raised their family. Palmer passed away in 1965.
Jeanette is survived by her children – Thomas Johnson of West Fargo, ND; Lee Johnson of Fargo, ND; Gary Johnson of Sharon, ND; Jean (Wayne) Diercks of Thurmont, MD; Monte (Karlene) Johnson of Plymouth, MN; David (DeeAnn) Johnson of Champlin, MN; her grandchildren – Melissa (Mike) Baran, Heather Diercks, Sara (Melanie Seltzer) Diercks, Joshua (Rachel) Johnson, Matthew (Corey) Johnson, Amanda (Gustaf) Schlepp, Dustin (Janie) Trice and Danielle Trice; and her six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings – Lillian (Marvin) Myers and Ruth (Dennis) Gunderson all of Cooperstown, ND; Anna (Duane) Splittstoesser of Akeley, MN; her sister-in-law, Adeline Gustafson of Aneta, ND.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer; her parents, Ole and Anna; her twin brothers – Henry and Helmer Gustafson; and sister, Margaret Tharaldson.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 11 AM Friday, September 28, 2018 at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo
VISITATION: one hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Friday
BURIAL: 3:00 PM Friday at the Sharon Cemetery in Sharon, ND
