Marion Knosalla

Marion Knosalla, 87, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at Villa Maria, Fargo. ND. Marion Savageau was born to Francis and Josephine Savageau on September 16, 1917. She grew up in Wild Rice, North Dakota, attended school at St. Joseph?s Academy, St. Benedict Church, Horace, North Dakota. Marion moved to Fargo where she was employed as a housekeeper. Marion Savageau and Ray C. Knosalla were married on May 24, 1941 in Fargo. Marion was a kind and gentle mother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She loved to sew and quilt, and enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray C. Knosalla in 1979 and her son, Roger Knosalla in 1971. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Josephine Savageau; her brothers, Gaston, Marcell, Dennis, and Roy; and her sisters, Loretta Dwyer and Doris Evans. Marion is survived by her two daughters, Judy (Ron) Blaschko, Remmer, Minnesota, and Sharon Brunette, Fargo, North Dakota; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Clarice (Harvey) Held, Perth, ND, Florence Mullens, Birmingham, Alabama, Genny Lotzer, St. Paul, MN, Bernadette Evans, California, and Adell Walker , California.; and her brothers, Wayne, Texas and Roger, St. Paul, MN.
