It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marjorie Evelyn Booke, who departed this life on May 5, 2026, at Eventide Lutheran Home in Moorhead, MN, at the age of 62.

Born on June 23, 1963, in Breckenridge, MN, Margie was the cherished daughter of Duane and Rose (Taylor) Booke. The family settled in Fargo, ND, where Margie attended school and graduated from Fargo South High School. In 1984, she took her first steps into adulthood by moving to Minneapolis, MN, where she worked for Broom Service. She would eventually return to Fargo in 1987 where she proudly served as a den leader for her son Taylor’s Cub Scout group. In 2003, she found her forever home in Moorhead, where she continued to nurture those around her.

Margie was a selfless caregiver, devoting her life to the well-being of others. Her love as a daughter, sister, and especially as a mother to her beloved children, Tasha and Taylor, was unparalleled. She was known for her cooking; making holidays and events a joyous celebration with her baking, particularly her notoriously delightful caramels around Christmas. She never had a recipe she couldn’t perfect.

In her later years, Margie cherished the time spent in Arizona during winter months with her parents, creating beautiful memories filled with laughter and love. She took great joy in hosting parties, sharing her culinary talents with friends, neighbors, and family. A trip to play bingo was always something to look forward to for Margie.

Margie is survived by her daughter, Tasha Booke of Grand Forks, ND; her son, Taylor Booke of Fargo, ND; and her “adopted grandchildren,” Monroe Judd, Oliver Judd, and Davie Judd, who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Duane and Rose; her sister, Dianna Booke; and her “ Boo Boo’s” Shadow, who added joy to her life.

In honoring Margie’s memory, a gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo, within the Celebration of Life Center. We invite family and friends to join together to share stories, laughter, and some of her favorite foods, just as Marjorie would have wanted..

A formal Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:00 PM in the Chapel at Boulger Funeral Home, where everyone is welcome to pay their respects and celebrate the beautiful life Margie lived. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed on the funeral home website.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center in Fargo.

As we remember Margie, let us hold close the love she so generously gave, treasuring the memories we shared with her and carrying her spirit with us always.
