Marlyce Mae Sather

Marlyce Sather, age 89, passed away on February 23, 2023 at Arbor Park Assisted Living, Moohead, MN, under the care of hospice of the Red River Valley.

Marlyce Mae Newton Sather was born July 17, 1933 to Mahnomen, MN, to William and Julia (Saice) Newton. She attended Waubon and Mahnomen Schools before moving to the Fargo, Moorhead area.

During her early years, she was employed at Holiday Inn, Antonios Grotta and Villa Maria.

Loved visiting with people, reading and TV.

Marlyce is survived by her children, Nancy Soberg, Lorraine Barsness, David (Deb) Sather, Dennis Jr. (Tanya) Sather, Mary Pearson, Debra Kinslow (daughter-in-law); sister, Ada Jorgenson, sister-in-law, Gloria Newton; grandchildren, Donovan, Jamie, Ryan Kinslow, Kenny (Downey) Larson, April (Libor) Bocek, Twyla Anderson, Shawn Gruel, Michelle Sather, Thomas (Jenna) Sather, Kiara Edwards, Tavia Koering, Josh Sather, Hayden, Bree, Ian, Corey Sandeen; 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Marlyce was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Sather, son Kim Kinslow, granddaughter, Stacey Sandeen; brothers, Leonard, Vernon, William, Paul, Bob, Ernie, Frank; sisters, Edith, Mary, June and many nephews and nieces, cousins and in-laws
