MaryAnn (Hager) Irion was born June 2, 1943, daughter of Abraham and Anna Hager and was the 2nd of nine children.   MaryAnn was born in Lakota, ND and grew up on a farm near Whitman, ND. She attended grade school in Whitman, and high school in Stephen, MN. MaryAnn worked several jobs in Stephen, MN and Devils Lake, ND prior to moving to Fargo, ND.  When she moved to Fargo, she worked at AmeriPride Linen for 30 years and then worked at the Radisson Hotel in Fargo for eight years in housekeeping and was honored as being employee of the year.  MaryAnn married Kermit Irion in October of 1973.  MaryAnn’s granddaughters: Sophie, Olivia, and Harper were her greatest joy. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kermit; father, Abraham; brother-in-laws William Burke, Dave Swanson; and niece Christy Swanson. Mary is survived by her son Brett;  granddaughters Sophie, Olivia, Harper, stepchildren Wanita (Dave) Moorhead, MN; Bill (Stacy), Bruce, Fargo, ND: brothers Omer, Alex Michigan, ND; Raymond, Fargo, ND; Albert (Kim), Grand Forks, ND; sisters, Lillian Hager, Lisbon, ND; Tina Swanson, Rennae Burke, Audrey Hager, Fargo, ND.  MaryAnn is also survived by special friend Leon Gelinski who provided comfort, friendship and support to her over the past several years. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Rosewood Nursing Home, Fargo, ND. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Boulger Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at Plymouth Congregational Church, 901 N Broadway, Fargo.
