Mary A. Nelson, 45, Fargo, died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at Rosewood on Broadway.
Mary A. Nelson was born to Bill and Grayce (Dougherty) Nelson on October 15, 1957, in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She came to Fargo as a young girl and attended St. Anthony of Padua Elementary School. Mary graduated from Shanley High School in 1976. Mary A. Nelson married John Thorseth at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fargo on June 4, 1977. They moved to Boise , Idaho, in 1979. Mary returned to Fargo in 1989. She has been battling with cancer since December of 2002 and died amongst her family and friends.
Mary is survivied by her parents, Bill and Grayce (Dougherty) Nelson, Sun City Center, Florida; daughter, Annie M. Thorseth, Fargo; son, Eric Fink, Florida; sister, Beth Skagen, Fargo; sister, Kim (Jay) Eisenbeis, Fargo; brother, Pat Nelson, Richville, MN; brother, Mike (Debbie) Nelson, Dilworth, MN; sister, Abby (Tony) Rheault, Fargo; sister, Maggy (Scott) Brace, Lakeville, MN; and brother, Pete (Stacy) Nelson, Minneapolis, MN; and 17 nieces and nephews.
Funeral: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Holy Cross Catholic Church, West Fargo.
Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m. Friday, Holy Cross Catholic Church, West Fargo
