In 1968 they moved to Fargo, ND and she worked at the Fargo Nursing Home.  In 1971 they returned to Mayville and she worked for a few more years at the hospital while raising a family.

They divided their time between Mayville, the lake, and eventually Arizona.

In 2021 she moved to Fargo and remained there until some health issues brought her back to Mayville for the remainder of her life. She passed peacefully May 19th.

Mary is survived by her 2 sons William and Michael, Mayville; 2 grandchildren Jesse and Nikki, Arizona; 2 sisters Monica Anderson, Mayville; and Donna Gramstad, St. Paul, several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

Mary was an outgoing person who enjoyed people, her daily walks and meditation, going to church, entertaining, her bridge clubs, knitting, golfing (especially in the winter), the holidays wherever they were, and entertaining the grandchildren in Arizona while they were growing up.
