They married on December 30, 1961 and were married for 61 years before her passing. The couple had four children together Karen, Sonya, Theresa, and Cathy.
MaryAnn was a military wife following her husband as he was stationed around the country as a member of the Air Force. She was a shoe and drapery expert and enjoyed meeting people and socializing.
MaryAnn’s joy in life was spending time with her family. She always cherished family get togethers sharing stories, playing games, and building memories. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, she treasured her time with them, spending countless hours playing rummy, Yahtzee, doing crafts, and watching them participate in activities. She had a passion for baking and was known for her pies, sugar cookies, and cheesecake. She also savored good German food and would never turn down the opportunity to eat knoephla, fleischkuekle, or plachinda.
MaryAnn is survived by her husband James Crawford, Moorhead; her children Karen (Darrin) Grubb, Sonya (Bill) Fischer, Theresa (John) Fischer, Cathy Faltersack; her sister Eufina Scherr, Rapid City; 8 grandchildren Michael, Megan, Caitlin, Matthew, Erik, Adam, Elizabeth, and Mason; and 3 step grandchildren Sawyer, Luke and Taylor.
