To Matt’s family… Matt worked at the Fargo Park District 45+ years… 35 of those years Matt and I worked together… Matt was foreman of operations… And in many of our discussions it was very obvious that Matt was very committed to his wife, family, and the Fargo Park District.… If Matt disagreed with you on an issue, he’d pull you aside, have the discussion with you, then back to work and no hard feelings regardless of the outcome.… They just don’t make them like Matt anymore ! Thank you Matt for your incredible commitment to our community but above all for your friendship… Rest in peace, my friend, and God bless your memory… With love… Roger G.
Always sad to lose a loved one. We’ve lived in the same Condo building with Matt & Sharon since 2011. They’ve done so many things for our building over the past twelve years. Manning/adjusting the Sprinkler System, Tree Trimming, Weeding, Cleaning, Painting, By-law work, Condo officers and much more. We’ll really miss Matt’s knowledge and assistance at Sunfield Estates II Condo Assn. Know that his entire family is in our prayers.
So sorry to hear about the passing of Matt. We hardly got to know him but our sympathy extends to family and friends. We are currently out of state for the week so will not be able to attend the services. God’s guidance be with you always.

I am going to miss you so much dad
Sharon and family:
I am so sorry to read about Matt’s passing. I worked with Matt at the Park District for a very long time and will never forget our conversations about everything from family, traveling, his grandchildren and gardening. He was a quiet man, but a hard worker and was respected by all who worked with him.
God bless the memory of Matt Wolf!

Matt is an awesome uncle, a good listener, and a lifelong public servant. If anything needs fixing in heaven he will get right to it!
i worked at fargo park district while he was foreman a good man
I have fond memories, even today at the age of 60, of Matt at the park district. I worked for him in the summer months (1981-86).
He treated me with respect and trusted me to work alongside full-time employees driving and handling big machinery.
I was always the lucky one (??) to clean the fountain at the entrance to Lindenwood Park and haul garbage at least once a week.
Every year, when I would come back, first thing he would ask was how is college and make sure I was staying the path. Matt was a man of character and taught me that hard work pays off in the end.
I was glad to read he enjoyed his retirement with his wife and family.
I am sending prayers to his family during this sad time.
RIP Matt.
Aunt Sharon, cousins Mark, Dave & Liz,

Dear Sharon and Family, I want to let you all know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Much love to all of you.
As Uncle Matt’s niece , I have many memories of early years.
Our handsome Uncle would visit us in Tilford S.D. . His Sister Maggie (my mom) would love it when she would see him . Her face would smile with the caring she felt for him.
We loved him so much.
This brings me to a current sad but heart warming story.
With Uncle Matt’s passing, a discussion of . Do You believe that we are reunited with our loved ones in Heaven.. I wasn’t sure . The next morning While sitting with a cup of coffee listening to the beautiful birds singing.,
2 birds flew into my house and together landed on my fridge
But only for a few seconds.
That was a beautiful sign to me that My Mom , Maggie has met him in Heaven and showed me that yes indeed ones loved ones are reunited in Heaven.Maggie loved birds….
Love You all.
Agnes.
I recall the first time I met Matt, he was calm and in control of the situation. He always was. That was in 1993 and through the years, I as many others regarded Matt as cool and collected and at time stubborn. But that was Matt. He had a wealth of information working at the Park District for so many years right after his military obligation. I would on occasions refer to his experience when necessary.
A friendship and kindness I know, I will and many others sorely miss.
Rest In Peace my friend.

Matt was a good boss and a better man! He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers with Sharon and family.

I have many fond memories of Uncle Matt and Aunt Sharon. I babysat Mark, Dave and Liz when they were young. Uncle Matt was a man of few words but when he spoke with his soft voice he had many words of wisdom. Most of all I will miss his smile.
May he rest in the arms of Jesus Christ. Love and prayers!
