Maurice J. LeBlanc, 83, Fargo, ND died Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Innovis Hospital, Fargo, ND. Maurice J. LeBlanc was born September 2, 1922 in Lebanon, NH, the son of Alphonse and Flora (Godin) LeBlanc, where he grew up and graduated from Lebanon High School. He attended the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He enlisted in the Army and proudly served his country in the European Theatre as a Medic. Upon his return from the service, Maurice moved to California where he worked as a bank examiner for Western Bank Corporation until his retirement. He subsequently moved to North Carolina to enjoy his retirement. He married Ann Thrower in Rockingham, NC. She died January 15, 1998. He married Doris Honeycutt in Fayettville, NC in September 1998. The couple lived there until 2003 when they moved to Fargo. Maurice is survived by his wife, Doris; 2 sons, Phillip (Jenny), West Chester, Pennsylvania and Maurice (Connie), Lebanon, NH; three stepdaughters, Ava (Tom), Vranish, Horace, ND, Diana Freeman, Portland, Oregon, and Gay (John) Black, Banks, Oregon and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann and two brothers, Norman and Roger. Memorials are preferred to Elim Care Center, c/o Doris LeBlanc, 2612 36th Ave. SW #211, Fargo, ND 58104.
