Michael Gay Hustad, 75, passed away February 21, 2024 at home surrounded by family.

Michael G. Hustad was born on December 13, 1948, son of Gay L. and Dorothy (Schwarz) Hustad. He was raised on the north side of Fargo graduating from Fargo North in 1966 and NDSU in 1970. He married Ruth (Schroeder) on September 5, 1970 and they had two sons, Eric of Fargo and Chris (Lisa) of Bismarck. Mike had a career in business and worked the last 20 years as a managing director for US Bank Piper Jaffray. Mike enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing with his two sons and friends and also spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Michael is survived by his wife, Ruth; sons, Eric and Chris (Lisa); 7 grandchildren, Christian, Conner, Madelyn, Ella, Wyatt, Brooklyn, and Easton Hustad; and sister, Janet Hustad.
