Michael (Mike) J. Kenville, 69, Fargo, died at home on January 10, 2025. Mike was born in Superior, Wisconsin on December 26, 1955. Mike graduated from Fargo South High School in 1973, and soon after joined the United States Navy where he served on the USS Ajax (AR-6) and was a photojournalist. After his service ended, Mike returned to Fargo and worked in the film processing industry. He retired in 2023. Mike’s love of photography lasted his whole life. He was also an aviation enthusiast and he never missed the annual “Fargo Airsho”, camera in hand. Mike was known for his quick wit and wry sense of humor and he loved watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Rifftraxx. He may have been the world’s biggest Pink Floyd fan and saw the band perform “The Wall” at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena in 1980, riding his motorcycle up from Navy Base San Diego.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother Caroline and his father Al. He is survived by his three brothers, Peter, Matthew, and Charles, one sister, Colena, and his nieces and nephew Haley, Sara, Ian, Molly, Rebecca, and Greta.
“Every shared moment, every inside joke, every adventure together – these are the threads of a life well-lived. A piece of our of hearts is missing; it is a void that can never be filled.” We love you, Mike.

Auntie reminded me last week that he’s with Gramma now, and that thought brings me a lot of peace.
