My thoughts and prayers are with you Travis during this difficult time. I worked with your dad at the Moorhead Sports Center back in the early 90’s. My best memory of him was when he needed help in writing a letter to a vendor – so I told him to write down some notes as to what he wanted to say and I would compose a letter for him. Later in the day, he came back into the office and handed me a wrinkled cocktail napkin with a bunch of scribbling on it. I asked, “What’s this?” He turned his back and started to walk out the door and said, “My notes”. Always brief and to the point.
Our thoughts are with you Travis and Katie. He enjoyed the snowbird life at Mesa Spirit to the fullest. He was at our place daily most days 2 or 3 times. Jim and Mike was always scouting out the next best car deal. He will be missed by many.
R.I.P., Mike. Our friend, Pickleball Mentor, and all round nice person. You will be missed at Mesa Spirit. You were a “fixture”. Condolences to Mike’s family.
Mike was our goalie for several years, most notably our trips to Winnipeg! We have good memories of Mike. He was a long time member of our M&M Hockeyteam.
Mike was a dedicated employee that ran and made the Moorhead Sports Center the best hockey arena in the area. Mike was a good friend and mentor on all things hockey. Jim Antonen, Moorhead City Manager. (1989-2001)
