    Dear Becky, Caleb, and Girls,

I didn’t get to know the girls but I am honored that I got to know Mike and Caleb through scouts. I spent many enjoyable times with both Caleb and Mike and I know how proud Mike was of Caleb.

Caleb, as a person who lost both her parents in her 20s, I want you to know that during your toughest times your dad lives within your heart and genes and will be there for you with his “dad power.”

Bless you all during this time and always. Sue Petry

  3. Surprise AZ
    Dear Becky, Caleb and girls,

I am so grateful that I got to hang out with Mike and Caleb and get to know them both through scouts. Mike was very fun to be around and a constant source of amusement with his wonderful sense of humor. I got such a kick out of Camp Wilderness because the scouts had been told in no uncertain terms that pop was not allowed. Mike smuggled in a case of Coke in and winked at me when he said something along the lines of “No way will I make it through four days without a Coke.”

He was also very talented and helpful with the scouting program and I was very appreciative of all of his help.

While I never got to know the girls, I am sure Mike is very proud of the wonderful son he raised. Caleb, as a person who lost her parents in her 20s, I want to tell you: in your toughest times I know your dad is there in your heart and genes and that that dad power will help you through. Bless you all, Sue Petry

Thinking of and praying for you…..
Mike’s courageous battle with cancer provided inspiration and hope for my mother-in-law while she was battling the disease a couple of years ago. Becky, your kindness and positive spirit always inspires me as a person. I am so sorry for your loss, and I will continue to be here for you in support and prayers. Love, Jill

  7. Nevada IAWords can not express the sadness that we feel for your loss. It has been a few years since we have had an opportunity see Mike but the last time we saw him at Morgan’s will always be a wonderful memory talking to him and listening to him talk of old times.

Rejoice in Mike’s memory in addition to mourning his loss. Remember good times and laugh in addition to shedding tears.

  8. Fargo Becky
I’m glad I was able to see you for a few minutes today. My contact with Mike was on the scouting events and camps. I’m a better person for having known him, even though it doesn’t compare to the closeness your family has. My prayers were with him they are now with you and the kids. Take care of yourself as best you can and know that we are close by. God give you peace.
