Sorry to read the paper today of Milldred’s passing! She was a good friend of mine and the ones on
7th Street here in Fargo. She was a friend to all of us and missed her when she left to go to an apartment.
She spoke a lot and loved all those children of here.
It saddened me to learn of Millie’s passing. I am a friend of her daughter, Vickie, and spent many happy hours playing the dice game 10,000 with the two of them. We had a ball, laughed a lot and gave each other a hard time, jokingly. Millie was a hard worker all her life and loved her kids beyond measure. She is loved and will be missed.
Sorry to hear of Millie’s passing. She was our neighbor on 7th St and she was always such a sweet lady.
Sending our.sympathy to your family with the loss of your mother. We lived next door to Chet and Millie on 7th St. We have fond memories of good times shared there. Enjoyed block parties, coffee and an occasional shop together. We used to see them occasionally, many years ago,@ the Eagles Club. Millie loved to dance and was very good at it! I can still invision her on the dance floor with her beautiful smile enjoying a waltz or a polka! Really lost touch when Millie moved from our neighborhood but do remember how much she loved each of you and how proud she was of her family.
My condolences to all of Millie’s family. Millie was my babysitter prior to 1st grade and I always loved when she played Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash. We continue to stay in touch when she moved to Fargo. Millie and mother, Carol Beck, were also close friends. Rest in Peace Millie!
