Nanci Marie Neubauer

Nanci Marie Neubauer, 68, of Glyndon, Minnesota, passed away in her home on June 12, 2025.

Nanci was born in Olivia, MN on November 11, 1956, to her parents Norman & Margaret Jungclaus. Nanci grew up on her family’s farm near Bird Island MN, with her 6 siblings, and would often reminisce on memories of her childhood.

Nanci was married to Daniel Neubauer on October 21, 1989, at Eagle Lake Lutheran Church in Wilmar, MN. Nanci was a loving mother to four children, and a wonderful grandmother to five grandchildren. Nanci made her career as a florist , she had a true talent and passion for creating beautiful floral arrangements and spent most of her career at Lee’s Floral in Fargo, ND. Whenever there was an event that needed floral arrangements, Nanci was happy to help. After 30 years as a florist, Nanci then became assistant manager at the West Central Ag C-Store and enjoyed getting to know the people of Ulen, MN. Nanci had a gracious heart and a kind soul. She was forgiving, generous and incredibly resilient. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Nanci is survived by her husband, Daniel Neubauer; four children, Casey (Jen) Meike, Samuel Meike, Jacob (Kelsey) Neubauer, and Sophia (Taylor) Lugert; five grandchildren, Dustin, Madison, Kylie, Max & Miles; siblings Cecilia Gilbertson, Nolan Jungclaus and Scott (Rebeca) Jungclaus; brothers-in-law Steve Dobmeier & Kevin Akulin, and many nieces and nephews. Nanci is preceded in death by her parents, Norman & Margaret Jungclaus; her sisters, Susan Akulin &Julia Dobmeier; her brother Craig Jungclaus, and her brother-in-law Doug Gilbertson.

A celebration of life will be held on July 12th, 2025 at Celia Gilbertson’s home in Lake Lillian, MN.
