Nancy K Howard

Nancy K. Howard, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Sanford Hospital in Hillsboro ND. She was born May 30, 1948, in Wheeling, West Virginia, to Darell and Hester (Vermeer) Black.

She graduated from Coon Rapids High School and then went on to Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids, MN, graduating with an accounting degree. Nancy enjoyed gardening, going for walks, watching sunrises, and chatting with friends over a cup of coffee. She also enjoyed helping others, cooking meals for them, sewing items they needed, sometimes just listening if that is what was called for.

She is survived by brothers, Scott Black, David Black, sister Jeanine (Black) Ringstad, 4 daughters Laurie Howard, Jennifer (Howard) Flynn, Tammy (Howard) Jensen, Melanie (Howard) Hunt, and son Donald (Lee) Howard II; grandchildren Kayleigh (Tyler), Aron, Taija, Billy, Rikki, Alyssa, Dustin, Kyle, Leah, Tanner, Tristen, Lakelyn and Teagan and great-grandchildren, Lacey, Levi, Isabelle. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother Tim, and sister Lisa (Black).

Burial will be at the Wildwood Cemetery in Cohasset, MN.
