Neil graduated with my brother Bob Cannon on New Rockford. Rest in peace.
Neil was a fantastic uncle. I have many fond memories of spending time with him and June. Rest in peace.
Neil was instrumental in encouraging me to pursue becoming a high school principal when female administrators at the high school level were few and far between in North Dakota which says so much about his progressive thinking. I am grateful for his guidance. He was dedicated to education. He believed as I do that education truly is a noble profession. I am grateful for having worked with him and learned from him. My condolences to his family.
